Scrubs and Confidence
You know that feeling when you catch yourself in the mirror and think ‘okay, I still got it’?

Scrubs and Confidence
That was me tonight getting ready for another twelve-hour shift. Thirty-seven, two kids, and somehow in the best shape of my life. The scrubs are doing their job.

Ready for another night of saving lives
Off to spend the night taking care of other people’s babies while mine sleep soundly at home. The irony isn’t lost on me, but honestly? I love what I do, and I love that I can do it while feeling confident in my own skin.

Off to make a difference
Night shift, here I come.
Twelve hours from now I’ll be exhausted, probably have mysterious stains on these scrubs, and definitely need a shower. But right now? Right now I feel good. And sometimes that’s enough to carry you through until morning.
