So I did something crazy today. I tried CrossFit. Like, actual CrossFit with barbells and burpees and people yelling motivational things at me while I questioned every life choice that led to this moment.

I deadlifted 125 pounds today. That’s more than I weighed in college. Then I came home and deadlifted a 20-pound baby approximately forty-seven times because Theo decided today was the day he needed to be held constantly. Honestly not sure which was harder.
I can barely lift my arms to type this, but something clicked today. Maybe it was the endorphins, maybe it was watching myself do things I didn’t think I could do, but I walked out of there feeling like I could conquer the world. Or at least conquer the laundry pile that’s been staring at me judgmentally all week. We’ll see which happens first.
