👩‍⚕️ Elena 👨‍💻 Marcus 🎭 Sophie

It’s been two weeks since the wedding and I keep catching myself staring at my ring. Not in a vain way (okay, maybe a little in a vain way), but in a “is this real life?” way. The whole thing still feels surreal.

Marcus has started calling me “my wife” in casual conversation and it’s the sweetest thing. He’ll be on the phone with his mom: “Let me ask my wife.” Or ordering coffee: “My wife will have a latte.” Like he’s trying out the words, seeing how they sound. I love it.

Sophie, meanwhile, could not care less about our new marital status. She’s sixteen months old and her biggest concern is whether Daddy is going to share his toast. Priorities, right? Some things never change - Marcus still makes the coffee, Sophie still demands to be held while he does it, and I’m still the one documenting every mundane moment because somehow it all feels magical right now.

Being married feels exactly the same and completely different all at once. We’re still us, just… official now. With really good photos to prove it.
