Look at Marcus completely melting over this tiny fluffball who could literally fit in his hands! We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.

He was so small his first week that I kept checking to make sure he was still breathing when he napped. That little bed looked enormous compared to him, and now he can barely fit his head in it.

Already causing trouble with Dad’s shoes

Marcus spent hours on the kitchen floor that first week, just playing and bonding. Biscuit immediately decided Dad’s shoelaces were the enemy and had to be destroyed.

When your puppy is smaller than his food bowl

My personal favorite - when we discovered him sitting IN his food bowl instead of eating from it. The bowl was literally bigger than he was. Now that same bowl holds maybe a quarter of his daily kibble. Time flies when you’re raising a golden tornado, apparently.

Six years later and 65 pounds heavier, he’s still the same goofy, shoe-obsessed sweetheart who thinks he’s a lap dog. Some things never change.
