Look at this tiny angel! He was four months old and weighed maybe 15 pounds soaking wet. That coffee mug for scale is sending me.

Remember when we thought he’d be a ā€œmanageable sizeā€?

Here he is trying to eat from a food bowl that was literally bigger than his entire body. The confidence was already there though - he knew he belonged here from day one.

And yes, his first bed was an Amazon Prime box because we weren’t prepared for anything and certainly weren’t prepared for how fast he’d outgrow everything.

That tennis ball is still his favorite six years later, even though now it looks like a ping pong ball in his mouth. Biscuit went from fitting in that box to being 72 pounds of pure chaos and I wouldn’t change a thing. Except maybe I’d have bought bigger everything from the start.
