Looking back at our wedding photos, we were basically babies - Elena at 22 and me at 25, thinking we had it all figured out. Spoiler alert: we didn’t.

We spent the afternoon looking through old wedding albums, laughing at how young we looked and how seriously we took everything. Elena still looks exactly the same (how is that possible?), while I’ve clearly embraced the dad bod lifestyle. The kids thought it was hilarious seeing mom in a big white dress instead of her usual workout gear.

Of course, we had to recreate some of the poses, because Elena can’t resist a good throwback photo op. I’m still stepping on her feet during our ‘romantic’ moments, and she’s still laughing about it instead of divorcing me.

Here’s to thirteen more years of Elena being way out of my league and me being grateful every single day that she hasn’t figured it out yet.
