Marcus got promoted to Senior UX Designer at Bandwidth today and I am SO proud!

My Brilliant Husband (and Other Things to Celebrate)

He’s been working so hard for this and completely deserves the recognition. When he called to tell me the news, I may have squealed loud enough to wake Sophie from her nap. Worth it.

We celebrated with takeout Chinese and letting Sophie stay up an extra hour to “help” daddy work on his laptop (she mostly just pressed random keys while he pretended it was helpful). Sometimes the best celebrations are the quiet ones at home.

Also, can we talk about how good we both look in this photo? I’m not even sorry about making this partially about me. When your husband gets a promotion AND you nail the lighting, you document it properly. You’re welcome, internet.
