I love that they still get this excited about summer break. Sophie’s already making lists of everything she wants to do (pool days, sleeping in, guitar practice without homework interrupting), while Theo has announced his intention to “find at least fifty new bugs” and build the ultimate dinosaur diorama.

Even caught a rare sibling hug moment before they went back to their regularly scheduled bickering about who gets the TV first. Summer 2026, here we come - and yes, I’m already mentally preparing for the “I’m bored” complaints that will inevitably start next week. But today? Today is pure celebration mode.
