Photo Shoot Realness
We needed a nice family photo for Easter cards. Simple request, right? Wrong.

Photo Shoot Realness
What you see here is the exact moment Biscuit decided our family portrait needed more golden retriever butt and Theo decided physics was optional.
I spent twenty minutes setting up the perfect shot - good lighting, nice background, everyone’s outfits coordinated.

Then I switched into full director mode because apparently I can take the girl out of the hospital but I can’t take the charge nurse out of the girl. Marcus just stood there patiently while I repositioned everyone seventeen times. This is why I keep him.

Sophie was mortified by my micromanaging, Theo was chasing Biscuit through the frame, and I was checking the timer countdown like mission control.

The behind-the-scenes
At least Marcus attempted damage control on my hair situation. We got exactly zero usable photos but somehow I still look good in all of them. Priorities.
We’ll try again next weekend. Maybe without the dog this time. (Just kidding, Biscuit, you’re staying. You get more likes than the rest of us anyway.)
