The Great Garage Takeover of 2026
Marcus went to the garage to work on his latest keyboard project and found something unexpected - his entire workbench had been transformed into what can only be described as a professional entomology lab.

The Great Garage Takeover of 2026
Twenty-three glass jars (I counted), each carefully labeled in Theo’s handwriting with things like “Cool Beetle” and “Fast Ant” and my personal favorite, “Probably Not Poisonous Spider.”

Professor Theo explaining his research
Theo, still in his dinosaur costume from this morning because why change when you’re doing important science, gave Marcus a full tour of his collection. The pride on that kid’s face as he explained each specimen was something else.

The full scope of the takeover
Marcus’s expression went from shock to confusion to that special kind of resigned acceptance that only comes with parenthood.

When your workspace becomes a natural history museum
I love how Marcus just rolled with it. Instead of shutting down Theo’s bug empire, he’s already talking about building proper specimen cases and getting real labels. This is why I keep him - he sees a kid following his curiosity and makes space for it, even when that space used to be his keyboard workshop. The mechanical keyboards can wait. Science is happening.
