Sophie's First Halloween: A Sleeping Success
Well, we officially survived Sophie’s first Halloween, though “survived” might be generous since she literally slept through the entire experience.

Sophie’s First Halloween: A Sleeping Success
I spent weeks planning this moment - the perfect tiny pumpkin costume, the ideal lighting for photos, even researching baby-safe face paint (which we obviously didn’t need since she was unconscious).
Marcus and I kept whispering “Is she going to wake up? Should we try to wake her up?” while positioning her for the perfect shot. The answer was no and absolutely not, respectively. Four months old and she’s already mastered the art of looking effortlessly adorable while doing absolutely nothing. I’m genuinely concerned about what this means for her teenage years.
We managed exactly zero trick-or-treaters before she woke up demanding dinner, but honestly? Best Halloween ever. No sugar crashes, no costume meltdowns, just one very sleepy pumpkin who somehow looked more photogenic than both her parents combined. I’m calling that a win.
