So apparently it’s 2009 now and everyone’s all “new year new me” but honestly I’m pretty happy with current me. Current me just needs to pass the NCLEX this summer and stop being weird about Marcus.

Okay fine, maybe I wrote some resolutions. And maybe Marcus found them and maybe he thought they were hilarious.

Some things are supposed to be private! Like the fact that I wrote down “stop pretending I don’t like Marcus as much as I obviously do” and then immediately crossed it out because WHAT IF HE SEES IT. Which he did. Because he has eyes.

For the record, that New Year’s Eve kiss was… fine. Totally normal. Just a kiss between two people who are definitely just friends who happen to make out sometimes. Very casual. Very chill. I’m the chillest.

Anyway, 2009 is going to be the year I become a real nurse and stop being weird about boys. Wish me luck on both counts because honestly I think the NCLEX might be easier.
