When Biscuit Was Bite-Sized
I was going through old photos and found these gems from Biscuit’s first week home.

When Biscuit Was Bite-Sized
Look at that FACE! I can’t even handle how tiny he was. Those paws that are now weapons of mass destruction were once these perfect little pink beans that fit in my palm.

That tennis ball was bigger than him
Remember when that tennis ball was literally bigger than his entire body? Now he can catch three at once and somehow still looks offended when I only throw one.

Nap time after terrorizing the house for 20 minutes
And the naps! Sweet, peaceful, thirty-minute naps between episodes of pure chaos. I thought I was tired with two kids. Then we added a golden retriever puppy to the mix.

When the couch was Mount Everest
My favorite was watching him try to get on the couch that first month. It was like watching someone attempt to scale Mount Everest with marshmallow legs. Now he launches himself up there like he’s been shot out of a cannon and acts personally victimized if his spot is taken. Six years later and seventy-two pounds heavier, he’s still convinced he’s that tiny puppy who needs to be carried everywhere. I’m not complaining.
