The Minecraft Masterpiece
Y’all. I walked past Marcus’s office this afternoon and found Theo giving what can only be described as a professional presentation about his latest Minecraft creation.

The Minecraft Masterpiece
Three weeks. THREE WEEKS this kid has been working on an entire dinosaur theme park, complete with roller coasters, gift shops, and what he calls “scientifically accurate habitat zones.” I’m not even sure what that means but he said it with such authority that Marcus was taking notes.

The enthusiasm is real
The level of detail is honestly insane. Theo has individual exhibits for different dinosaur species, complete with educational signs he typed out himself. There’s a monorail system. A cafeteria that serves “prehistoric pizza.” Marcus kept saying “buddy, this is incredible” and Theo would beam and launch into another explanation about Jurassic vs Cretaceous period accuracy.

The grand tour continues
What gets me is how patient Marcus is during these tours. Forty-five minutes of detailed explanations about virtual dinosaur park logistics, and he’s genuinely engaged the entire time. This is why I keep him, honestly. Also why Theo thinks his dad is the coolest person alive. The bar is low when you’re eleven and someone actually listens to your dinosaur facts.
Now Theo wants to build a space station next. Marcus has already cleared his evening schedule for the inevitable guided tour. I married the right nerd.
