So apparently I have a problem. Elena pointed this out to me yesterday when she came to ask me something and found my office looking like a mechanical keyboard store exploded.

It started innocently enough - just one nice keyboard for work. But then I discovered the rabbit hole of switches, keycaps, custom builds, group buys…

In my defense, they were on sale.

Before I knew it, I had ‘just a few’ keyboards that somehow multiplied overnight.

Elena stood in the doorway for a solid minute, just taking it all in. Then she asked, ‘Marcus, how many keyboards does one person need?’ I started to explain about different switches for different typing experiences, but her expression suggested this wasn’t the time for technical details.
