RN, Party of One (Plus Baby)
Two months, three weeks, and four days after Sophie arrived, I got the email. PASSED. I am officially a Registered Nurse.

RN, Party of One (Plus Baby)
I studied with one hand while breastfeeding with the other. I took practice exams while Sophie napped on my Fundamentals textbook. I memorized drug interactions while she used my shoulder as a pillow during her 3am feeding marathons. There were moments I thought my brain had completely turned to mush - pregnancy brain is real, y’all, and it doesn’t magically disappear when the baby does.
But here we are. Elena Vasquez, RN. It feels surreal writing those letters. Four years of nursing school, one surprise pregnancy, one perfect baby, one very patient fiancé, and approximately 47 gallons of coffee later - I did it. Marcus keeps saying he’s proud of me, but honestly? I’m pretty proud of myself.
Sophie slept through my entire celebration dance around the kitchen. Priorities, right?
