She’s got the patience of a saint explaining fractions while he’s asking if velociraptors understood division. The concentration on both their faces was everything.

The moment before understanding clicks

There was definitely a moment where they both hit the wall. Math is hard, y’all. Theo put his head down in defeat and Sophie had that look every tutor gets when they’ve explained the same concept five different ways. But she didn’t give up on him.

Math is hard

Twenty minutes later they were celebrating his completed worksheet like he’d just solved world hunger. Sophie’s proud smile was almost as big as Theo’s. These two drive each other crazy 90% of the time, but moments like this remind me they’ve got each other’s backs when it counts.

Victory achieved

The victory dance that followed was entirely necessary and completely adorable.
