So apparently while I’ve been struggling to get Biscuit to come when called, Theo has been running a full dog training academy in our kitchen.

I walked in today to find him teaching Biscuit to shake hands like some kind of nine-year-old Dog Whisperer.

Of course, I had to try it myself.

Let’s just say Theo is definitely the superior trainer in this family. The kid has been quietly perfecting his techniques while I’ve been bribing Biscuit with treats just to sit.

When Biscuit finally gave me that perfect handshake, I felt like I’d graduated from Theo’s secret dog training program.

Look at that form! Elena caught the whole thing on camera because apparently watching your husband get schooled by a fourth-grader in dog training is peak entertainment. Theo’s already talking about teaching Biscuit to roll over next. I’m taking notes.
