Tonight’s topic was Velociraptors, and apparently I NEEDED to know immediately that everything I learned from Jurassic Park was wrong. Who knew?

The wingspan demonstration
The wingspan demonstration was particularly impressive, complete with sound effects and everything. I’m pretty sure our neighbors can hear him through the walls when he gets going.

The ‘actually’ face
By the time he moved on to explaining how different dinosaurs walked, he was fully committed to the performance, complete with floor demonstrations.

Full paleontologist mode
I’ve learned more about the Mesozoic Era while making spaghetti than I ever did in school. Sophie just rolls her eyes and puts in her earbuds, but secretly I think she’s learning too. Marcus enables it by asking follow-up questions, which only encourages more lectures. At this rate, Theo’s going to be giving TED talks by middle school.
