36 and Unapologetic
Today I turn 36 and I’m not going to pretend to be humble about it.

36 and Unapologetic
This is me, in my kitchen, in the best shape of my life, taking my 47th attempt at the perfect birthday selfie because I know exactly what angles work and I’m not sorry about it. I spent years apologizing for wanting to look good, for caring about fitness, for taking photos that I actually like of myself. Not anymore.

Morning stretch before the birthday chaos begins
Marcus caught me this morning doing my usual routine - coffee, stretch, check my phone for birthday messages from family. It’s such a normal moment, but that’s the thing about being 36. I’ve learned to find beauty in the ordinary.

Reading all the birthday love and feeling grateful
Even reading texts makes me smile bigger these days because I genuinely love the life I’ve built.

This is 36 and I’m here for it
So yes, I asked Marcus to take this shot. Yes, I posed. Yes, I know my good side and my lighting and exactly how to stand. I worked hard for this body through two pregnancies, night shifts, and approximately 10,000 squats. I’m going to photograph it. Today, tomorrow, and every day after because confidence looks good on everyone, but it looks especially good on me at 36.
