Christmas Morning
Sometimes the best Christmas moments aren’t the big ones. Not the unwrapping frenzy or the perfectly staged dinner table shots. It’s this – Sophie explaining to Theo why reindeer can’t actually fly while he insists they can because “Santa told me,” all of us still in our pajamas except me because I put on real clothes at some point this morning and honestly can’t remember when.

Christmas Morning
The tree is perfect this year. Marcus only swore twice while putting it up, which is a record. The lights work. The kids haven’t broken any ornaments yet. Theo keeps asking if we can open “just one more” present and Sophie keeps reminding him we already opened them all. This is what contentment looks like.
Christmas with these people. In this house. Nothing else matters tonight.
