Halloween: Just the Kids This Year

This year I skipped the matching family costume and let the kids do their thing. Sophie went with classic cat - black everything, whiskers, done. Theo went with dinosaur because of course he did.

I spent exactly zero energy on my own costume and exactly all my energy making sure they felt amazing in theirs. Sometimes being the photographer instead of being in the photo is exactly where I want to be.

They trick-or-treated the whole neighborhood and came home with enough candy to fuel a small army. Theo immediately sorted his by “herbivore candy” and “carnivore candy” because everything is dinosaurs with this kid. Sophie traded all her chocolate for Theo’s gummy bears because she’s secretly the sweetest sister alive.
