I came home expecting chaos - maybe a crying baby, Marcus looking frazzled, the kitchen destroyed. Instead I found this. Marcus working at the island with Theo sleeping peacefully in the carrier, both of them looking completely content. It was suspiciously competent. Like, where was this level of organization when Sophie was a baby?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. Coming home to a functioning household and a husband who figured out how to work while baby-wearing is basically winning the lottery. But there’s a tiny part of me that’s like… did you not need me as much as I thought you did? New mom brain is a trip, you guys.
