So here we are on Halloween, and let me tell you - when you’re six months pregnant in October, the costume choices are limited. I could go as a basketball smuggler, or I could lean into it.

Sophie has been planning her butterfly costume since August. The wings, the tutu, the sparkly everything - she is COMMITTED to this look. Meanwhile, Marcus’s costume is… being a dad. He says the khakis are “authentic dad energy.” I can’t argue with that logic.

The best part? Sophie keeps fluttering around me saying “Mommy, I’m pollinating your pumpkin!” and honestly, the biology is questionable but the enthusiasm is A+. This kid is going to get SO much candy tonight.
