Two Years Down

Today marks two years since I said “I do” to this beautiful disaster of a human being. We celebrated with dinner at Margaux (fancy, I know) and talked about how crazy it’s been - from surprise pregnancy to new baby to figuring out how to be parents and partners at the same time.

And this is how my romantic husband ended our anniversary evening - passed out on the couch at 8:07pm with the remote still in his hand. Sophie’s been asleep for an hour, and apparently the excitement of staying up past his usual bedtime was too much for him. I’d be offended if it wasn’t so perfectly Marcus.

Two years in and I still get butterflies when he looks at me. Even when he’s drooling on my throw pillows. Here’s to many more years of him falling asleep during movies and me taking embarrassing photos to document it.
