This is him being helpful - completely absorbed in drawing some intricate design on a napkin while my textbook sits abandoned. He says drawing helps him think, and that his thinking helps me think. I’m not sure that’s how studying works, but I’m not complaining.

Anatomy textbook: ignored. Napkin art: fascinating.

We lasted about twenty minutes before we got completely sidetracked talking about everything except the cardiovascular system. He showed me his napkin masterpiece and I showed him the diagram I was supposed to be memorizing. Guess which one was more interesting?

Three hours later, I know exactly zero more about anatomy than when he arrived, but I do know that Marcus thinks better with a pen in his hand and that his concentrated face is ridiculously cute.
