Lake Day = Best Day

OMG you guys!! Just got back from THE most amazing Fourth of July ever and I’m still buzzing (and maybe a little drunk on cheap Bud Light but whatever).

Lake Day = Best Day

Went to Jordan Lake with basically everyone from my nursing cohort plus some random friends from the dorm and it was absolutely PERFECT. Like, the kind of day you see in movies except with way more sunscreen fails and someone’s janky Bluetooth speaker that kept cutting out every time “Umbrella” came on (which was approximately every twelve minutes because Jess is OBSESSED).

I am SO sunburned right now it’s not even funny. I look like a lobster with highlights. But honestly? Worth it for the most epic day ever. We played volleyball in the water, had a ridiculous floating beer pong tournament that ended with Tyler face-planting into the lake, and just laid on towels talking about absolutely nothing important for HOURS.

Now I’m home eating leftover pizza and my shoulders feel like they’re on fire but I’m still smiling like an idiot. These are the days I want to remember when I’m old and boring and probably a real nurse dealing with real nurse stuff. But for now? College life is pretty freaking amazing.
